Director, Global Learning & Development

Operations - San Francisco helps salespeople have better conversations by using AI and machine learning to pinpoint what the top performers are saying and doing differently. Those behaviors can then be replicated across the entire team to increase quota attainment and slash on-boarding time of new team members. Customer-facing teams at hundreds of companies like LinkedIn, GE and ZipRecruiter use Gong to improve their customer experience in millions of conversations every day.

We are looking for a dynamic  Director, Global Learning & Development to join Gong’s People Leadership team!  This is is an exciting opportunity to build our L&D  department from the ground up. If you have a passion for creating strong relationships throughout the business, evangelizing professional development, and helping Gong build an organization of inspiring leaders, this job is for you!

On your first day, we’ll expect you to have:

  • 5+ years of experience leading a learning and development department within a high-growth organization
  • Experience consulting with business leaders, providing training design and development support.
  • Strong personal leadership, organizational, and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to inspire confidence in senior management and to be recognized as the authority by stakeholders.
  • Analytical approach to problem-solving and driving toward solutions.
  • Ability to switch seamlessly between strategic thinking and tactical execution within a fast-paced environment
