Gong has a pre-built integration with RingCentral that you can access here. From the integration page, you choose how to connect your apps. You can then go to Gong’s web conference settings to activate automatic recording in RingCentral.
- Gong makes it easy to both notify parties of call recording and to obtain consent. Because some countries and US states require both parties on a recorded call to be notified, we recommend including this notification regardless of the call participants’ locations. Here’s how:
- Your team members can send invitees a link to a personalized consent page hosted by Gong. After invitees consent to recording, they are directed to the meeting.
- You can also use our calendar add-on! Install the Gong for Google Calendar add-onto easily schedule meetings using the consent page in the native calendar app.
- Participants hear an audio prompt when they join the call, which lets them know that the conference call is being recorded.
- Team members can send participants a pre-call email that both reminds them of the call and that it’s recorded.
Yes. When a recorded team member is on a call, the Gong recorder will appear as a participant. The recorded team member can always remove Gong from the call.
